Diocese for Military and Chaplain Services

Chaplain Services

The Diocese for Military and Chaplain Services provides the ecclesiastical structure and support needed to help qualified individuals fulfill their chaplain vocations. Chaplains may serve in the Active Duty branches of the military, as well as the Reserves and National Guard. Chaplains may also serve in the Veteran's Administration, prisons, and in the Civil Air Patrol (USAF- Auxiliary).

Serving God by serving people...

The various branches of the military, along with many other chaplain positions, require their candidates to be highly qualified. Typical requirements include an accredited education, physical condition, and ecclesiastical endorsement. Additional opportunities may include "Chaplain Candidate" programs for seminarians. If the Spirit of Christ is calling you into the ministry of an endorsed chaplain, please contact us to see how we can help!

ICCC - USA

The Free Episcopal Church USA (TIFPECUSA) retains full membership in the International Council of Community Churches - USA. Through this ecumenical Council we are able to offer important pastoral support and tools not typically found in many other jurisdictions. Through the ICCC - USA we are a part of Churches Uniting in Christ (composed of several churches, such as The Episcopal Church, the United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, etc., etc.).
